Upcoming Trips and Events
Birds SA runs field trips, campouts and stall events at festivals for the benefit of members, family and friends. All of these types of events are posted as Events on this website, the Member Jungle app (see FAQs under Membership) and Facebook. More information about different types of events is described with definitions about excursion terrain difficulty on the About Events page.
All field trips can be subject to cancellation or change due weather conditions or other factors outside Birds SA's control. It is important that you check this website or the Member Jungle app for updated information. Updates will be provided 24 hours prior to the commencement of any affected excursion wherever possible. Notice for campouts will be given earlier than 24 hours. Please note, if a member is at an event and is under 18 years of age, they will need to be supervised by an adult.
